News Flash! - You don't have to drink alcohol.

But we know many of our clients do (and so do I) so we made a "best choices" guide.

Just understand that alcohol is it's own macronutrient (besides protein, fats and carbs)

It contains 7 calories per gram and the calories from alcohol counts towards your total daily calories allowed (if you track calories)

White or red wines are very close in calories so whatever you fancy!

In general, white wines tend to be lower in alcohol and calories than reds but by a very small margin.

While light whites have around 140 calories or less per six-ounce glass, a light red has between 135 to 165 calories, while a higher-alcohol red like pinot noir can have up to 200 in a glass.
