The links below will take you to Amazon & possible a few other trusted sites I have purchased from before.
If any link is broken or the item is unavailable, simply search for a similar product on Amazon.
If you find a better deal at Target or Walmart, feel free to grab it there instead.
You'll only need to make 3-4 small purchases total:
1. Set of resistance bands with handles and a door anchor...(the specific one below has it all)
2. Therapy Ball (aka Swiss ball)
3. Either 3 sets of dumbbells or the adjustable DB set which I think is the best bang for your buck!
If you'll be doing your workouts at a gym or health club, there's no need to purchase any equipment.
THE EQUIPMENT:
Adjustable DB Set (from 5-25 lbs) - This would be my personal choice because you'll be able to use 5-25 pound ranges all with one set!
If you want to purchase 3 separate sets, you can do that as well. (I would select a set of 5lbs, 8-10 lbs and a heavier set for legs around 15-20 lbs)
Set of 5 Resistance Bands with handles + a door anchor: (it must have a door anchor)
Pair of 5 lb. DB:
Pair of 8 lb. DB:
Pair of 10 lb. DB:
Pair of 12 lb. DB:
Pair of 15 lb. DB:
Pair of 20 lb. DB:
Stability/Swiss Ball
A stability or Swiss ball can mimic a flat bench. It's a space – saving, super affordable alternative to a workout bench that allows you to perform exercises like chest presses, dumbbell flies, pullovers and certain crunches while also engaging your core.
NOTE: Most women start with a pair of 5-8 pound dumbbells for upper body exercises, especially those targeting arms. For larger muscle groups like chest back and especially legs, a second pair of 10-15 pound dumbbells is typically recommended.
If you're already strong or experienced with weights, you may also want to add a set of 20 pound dumbbells for an added challenge.
The items below aren't mandatory, but have a look and see if there's anything that might help you stay safe, add variety to your custom programming and help get to your goals faster!

When entering your weights into the app using resistance bands, keep in mind that each band has a specific poundage equivalent.
For tracking purposes, we use the higher number assigned to each band.
For this particular set:
Yellow = 4 pounds.
Blue = 6 pounds.
Green = 12 pounds
Black/gray = 20 pounds
Red = 30 pounds
These are the numbers you should enter into the app where it asks for the weight you lifted.
Keep in mind that if you purchase a different set of bands, the colors and resistance levels may vary.
Most sets come with a manual or guide that lists the resistance for each band – be sure to refer to it when tracking in the app.
